He's talking about the Neon.
HUMMM no he wasnt. I love the GPs. The IL club i hang out with are AWESOME guys. My boy has a low 13sec Gtp and will hopefully see 12s once he gets his cam in next week. Check out Clubgp when ya get a chance and if ya need any advice on what to do 1st gimme a holla.
Thanks for the offer, Dom, and yea I might take you up on it a bit later; but man, I definitely don't want to start modding this car performance wise until the warranty is about up and until I've got a little more income saved up incase something goes wrong. I had a lot of money saved until I bought this car, and now I'm in debt I'll be out of it soon, but all the same I'm going to keep to visual mods so the warranty people don't give me grief if, say, a head gasket blows.
BTW, I've been a member of clubgp.com for about a year now (as Tim`). 12 Second Dave is a local member where I live, and I've talked to some GP folks like Dave at the last Malibu Speedzone import meet/carshow. I think the most I'll do is the SD Ram Air hood with ram air intake box, and a nice SLP trapezoidial cat-back stainless steel exhaust. Might do a ubend delete a bit later as I prepare for more boost, but right now she's perfect performance wise.
Thanks again, Tim

I bet it sounds sweet. I imagine it's not the most tossable vehicle you could have gotten, but for most anything else, it's probably very comfortable and smooth.
I saw my first SRT-4 on the road yesterday, as it came up behind me and eventually passed me on the expressway (not a blow-by or anything, just cruising), and I thought the exhaust note sounded cool for about 5 seconds (I had my windows up and music playing), and then realized how droning it must be for the people in the car.

Yea, the SRT-4 exhaust sounds sweet, but must not be very allowing for inner-car conversations. With this car, I really can't hear the exhaust that much. The engine makes a lot of noise, though, especially with the supercharger whine. All in all, I would probably have to open up the intake for the whine to be noticeable by other cars, and I'd have to open up the exhaust a bit more to hear this ol' pushrod make some noise. My Duratec, on the other hand, made plenty of awesome engine noises. I do wonder what the exhaust will sound like with a nice cat-back. Most people not in the GP world tell me it sounds very ricey Tim

personally...I would have stayed the course and got the SRT-4...yes it is a neon but they do alot of cool things that start with the numbers 12 and 13 quite easily...plus they dont have an automatic. But that is a nice car you've got. I like the 2 door versions alot, and they can get pretty quick in a hurry. I remember the SVT/GTP wars of a few years ago, the BS got pretty thick in here
