Hmmmm...that's pretty much where you want to be. I run 33F and 32.5R, and I never oversteered until the Ausie hit..then she'd come around real easy.

The oversteere is not bad just when you push to the max the rear comes around real easy and it is easy to control.
But like i said these cars have more oversteere then
understeere. Most of the front wheel drive cars i had understeere a lot. I like the handling of my CSVT

I suspect the oversteer was a result of lifting off the throttle...When the back end starts to rotate with FWD, standing on the gas a bit will straighten you out, pointing in the correct direction (if you are good). 'course, you need to factor this into your plan when you chose your curve entry speed...getting on the gas at 100 MPH in a turn is a bit harry if you are wanting to scrub speed...

RWD cars understeer with throttle closed..which is more comforting in general. But the really good FWD car drivers use the rotation induced by lifing throttle to point the car around the turn...so it can be a good thing.

Stock SVT is mild-mod understeer under "typical" driving conditions. With more tire pressure front, stiffer rear bar, less rear weight can move the balance toward light understeer with easier oversteer.

I will get a lite oversteer when i go in a long hight speed corner and slowly go fast and fast until one end steps out and it is the rear that steps out before the front.

The amount of fuel you're carrying can also have a significant effect.

Now some of the more experienced can chime in here, but i believe that our rear suspension design incorporates a limited amount of rear wheel steering that allows for the oversteer condition.

This is very desriable in a FWD car, as nearly all of them have understeer diled into suspension design, which is great for ma and pa, keeps them from freaking out when the rear starts to pass the front.

But as i was saying, most will plough when pushed, where ours 'gets its rear out' to help steer the car around the corner, not into the guardrail.

It does this in a rather sudden fashion if it's not something you've experiencd before, but is very manageable, easy to control, and it does give you a fair bit of notice before it breaks, it's just that you're going really really fast when it does!

And remember, esp if you're learning... DO IT ON A TRACK!!

Took the words out of my mouth...classic lift-throttle oversteer and yes the fix is counterintuitive...

RWD is subject to the same laws of physics and if you snap off the gas in a RWD car in a turn, it'll rotate just like a FWD car will. The difference in behavior comes from what happens when you give it too much gas to fix the problem. In a FWD car, you'll understeer, and in a powerful RWD car, you'll oversteer. But generally they'll both respond the same to moderate throttle input.
