I have 95 Mystique with the 2.5 auto. We find that when taking off from stop that its shift from first to second is kind of hard with thump going into second. It only seems to be from low into second gear that it kicks kind of hard going to 2nd gear. Any ideas what could cause this? Buy a Transmission Shaft Speed Sensor $28.75 from Ford, my car does the same thing. I was going to replace it because I have the sensor but got lazy.
