The first few times I used a very small jewelers flathead screwdriver to gently pry them out at first, the damage caused by the screwdriver was hardly noticable unless you looked very close. After that I replaced them...they were less than a buck each...now I just use a hot glue gun and put a small dab of hot glue on them to get them out, then peel the glue off afterwards. works great and I'll never have to buy them again.

btw there is one in the door handle...have fun with that one. Actaully there is a little indent you could put a screwdriver (jewelers) and pop it out...just be sure you don't let it fly and lose track of it. Been there, done that.
