Officers do not and cannot just enter any home at will. They must have permission granted them by a legal entity (read judge).
At the time the police woke me up looking for my sister I was exhausted and was enjoying one of the most peaceful sleeps I have ever had. My sister is in jail now and I believe she will be spending most of her life there. All she wants is drugs, sex, and good times. It seemed just plain wrong for the police to wake me up in my home and accuse me of hiding my sister. My sister is a hardcore drug addict and I don't like to be associated with her. I am a veteran with lots of veteran friends who could teach the local police a lesson if we wanted to (there is stength in numbers) but that would be a last resort. I like to accomplish things and my sister likes to overdose on drugs but the police are not smart enough to see the difference between me and my sister.
My problem is pretty much solved by my gate at the end of my driveway that I keep locked. It did not help the police one little bit waking me up. It was just plain stupid. The police where I live are often shooting and killing unarmed people because they believed that the person might have been reaching for a weapon. If they are that scared they should go hide somewhere and they should not be carrying a gun.
