Yeah, this about proves it, your an idiot.
Originally posted by Kremithefrog: It shows more obvious stupidity on your part and the officers part. Hmm, let's see, he was behind me and I needed to pull out on to a road,,, got to look behind me to make sure no cars are coming... Or I guess I should have just pulled out blindly.
Jesus Christ!!! Do you think that he might have accidently left the damn light on!!!??? Quit the cops are a-holes bull that your spouting around here, its so old!!! Yes, everyone hates the cops, and your so much cooler cause you hate them more.
Originally posted by Kremithefrog: You don't realize anything. I actually have plenty of respect for police, again I work for them. I don't have respect for this particular officer and how he acted.
You have no beef with this officer other than he gave you what you deserved! You have no respect for him because he left his damn light on?! Please tell me in 2 sentences or less, what this cop did to you to warrant a complaint filed against him??
Originally posted by Kremithefrog: I am accepting my responsibility, but guess what I can still have an opinion about it and can still do something about it.
No your not accepting it, you came on here looking for a way to get the ticket dropped. You started with saying that he cant sit on the side of the road with his lights off clocking you, which they can do.
Originally posted by Kremithefrog: You know NOTHING about me,, I guess starting a neighborhood watch isn't trying to improve the community. Though I'm sure this cop giving me a ticket and being an ahole while doing really helps the community.
Hey, that is a good thing your doing with that, they really do work. However, for it to be the most effective, you need to coordinate with the police, the same police that you have beef with.
Originally posted by Kremithefrog: Also state laws determine the speed on the road I was on, I think the speed limit is good for most conditions, but it could be variable and be higher with less traffic and dry conditions, but like I can really get that to happen by myself.
Okay, so we have this variable speed limit, now how do we determine when the extra speed is reasonable? I will bet my car on the fact that this "law" would have a nice little phrase in there, "Officer's discretion." Montana tried this, with their "autobahn" you could indeed get a ticket on these roads, it was up to the officer to determine if your speed was reasonable and necessary.
Originally posted by Kremithefrog: I wish cops would just get off their high horses,,, but that's why they are cops, so they can boss people around, etc. Like I said, I know and work with plenty of cops, I know how they are.
I wish whiney teenagers would get off their anti-authority horses. I never joined the reserves for the ability to boss people around, and neither do 99% of cops. Of course there is always an exception, but thats what those cops are, the exception.
I never said I wasn't an idiot, but you're one too, so .
Dude, READ READ READ. I did not come on here looking for anything, I came on here just to rant and blow off steam. I clearly stated that. I said I HEARD the cop couldn't do that, but he turned his lights on, then hit the blue lights anyways, showing I realized that didn't matter.
I am in contact with the police, but not the ONE I have beef with.
Yeah, the variable speed wouldn't work here as they would still write the laws to be messed up. It works in Germany and Italy becuase they do it right. No speed limit when little traffic, out of cities, and good weather. The electronic signs set a speed limit when these conditions are met. It isn't left up to a single officer.
I don't like the fact that I drove home seeing spots. I could care less whether you think it's fine or not. Obviously the officer felt it was fine. Ooo and I guess I just forgot I was speeding and he can forget his light is on and it's all OK, whatever. He pulled me over PRESUMABLY for speeding becuase it's unsafe, well he ended up making the remainder of my drive home even more unsafe. But it's OK, because he's a cop and that's his job to do that and not think.
And if you really think 99% of cops don't join the force for the reason to have authority,, you are sadly mistaken. I know it may not even be 50% but it's still more than 99%.
