BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Look who's talking!
You start a thread to b!tch and moan like a 7 year old about getting a speeding ticket (and you even admit that you're being selfish and immature), and we're supposed to feel compassion??
Oh man, thanks for a good laugh. I needed one.
I started a post to rant and blow off some steam and everyone came back at me. No, I didn't say feel compassion. READ it, I said deal with it. You and others can post deal with it to me as well, wait ya'll basically already have.... What's the problem now?

If this is your first offense the judge will most likly reduce it or even drop it. But if you make waves by filing a complaint your screwed, with the judge and the cops.
Just go to court and play nice. The spotlight is for his own saftey. He does not know that you may have a gun under the seat and could come out shooting after he gives you the ticket.
Everytime I have been pulled over they turn off the spotlight as soon as your car is moving.
If you file a complaint for that, your going to be pulled over for every little thing.

You obviously need more driving experience.
More often than not, you won't get in an accident caused by someone directly in front or behind you. When driving it's all about the periphery, observation, and situtational awareness.

We're just trying to help you out by imparting some of our wisdom on you. Collectively there's a lot more driving years than your 2 on here. You would probably do well to heed some of it.
I've probably been pulled over 50 times at least. I've got one ticket to my name. And it was from a cop with almost exactly the same attitude as you describe, but I was 15 over with no leg to stand on. You just gotta deal with it and pay it.

I see this all the time, a cop turns the sirens on, does an illegal U-Turn, turns sirens off, continues to proceed (I drove behind one of these guys... see wtf they were doing, ended up stopping at a Krispy Kreme... )

Dude, you haven't passed on any advice to me,, atleast not that is useable or that I didn't already know. And you obviously weren't there, and I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't have seen the cop either... but that's not really the real point anyways. I didn't post "how to avoid police", I posted "I'm ranting". And I wasn't exactly in a great mood to begin with, this has been one of the worse weeks of my life, I'm not exactly thinking "how can I go faster and not get caught"....
And all of us can benefit from more driving experience, if you've been pulled over 50 times, you sure could too. My mom has been pulled over 0 times and even she could benefit from more driving experience.

Thanks, I already know what to do when I go to court. I still plan on filing the complaint (first I will be speaking with some officers I know) as it did make my drive home unsafe. And I'll enjoy every minute of being pulled over daily for the next 5 months.

By advice, I meant advice on handling police, getting pulled over, and how to deal with it.
And I never claimed I didn't need any driving experience -- I was just floored that someone driving 80+MPH who suffers from nightblindness and apparently poor vision from what you've said thinks they don't have to worry about anything other than what's on the road. That comment either belies stupidity (which I know you're not) or just lack of experience.
