Tonight I spent 4 hours with grandparents at the hospital, then went to work to get my schedule, then was coming home cuz my mom said be home by 11:30. Bam 83mph in a 65. Cop didn't ask questions at all just gave me the ticket,, getting his quota I guess. I've always heard that the cop has to have his parking lights on at night before he pulls someone over. Well he turned them on, then headlights then I went by and he pulled me over,,, so I guess he covered himself but still that's messed up. You try to do things right, and something happens to cost you money... I'm so pissed right now. Things keep getting worse and worse..... just trying to vent but it's not really helping. I hope the cop doesn't show to court so it'll be dismissed but I sorta hope he comes so I can tell him what I think of him. After telling me to drive safe and BS and got in his car, he left his spot light on me forever and I just set there because I couldn't see to pull back on to the highway. .....

Sorry about your situation at the hospital but 18 mph over is not going to get you a warning especially when your young.
Good luck with the other stuff though!

You will get no sympathy from the judge for telling the guy off. Plus if he does not show up I believe they don't have to throw it out. They still have evidence which is the reading from his gun.

One thing to do when being stopped, is turn the engine off take the keys out of the ignition place them on the dashboard. Then make sure both hands are on the wheel, and always make sure to get registration/insurance only when he asks for it. I have seen cops let you go with a warning for doing this.

well no offense but it seems you got what was deserved

I would think a parent would rather their child get home safely then to speed home, eben if it means you are going to be late, what are cell phones for anyway

but I suppose I got what I deserved, some ass decided I was coming down a street to fast, had to slow anyway because of a 90 degree turn, well he throws a basketball into the street infront of me, I nearly stop but still roll over it, when I get out to look for damage he walks over and yells at me the speed limit is 25, I didn't even look at him, look under the car then speed off real fast.....I know my actions have reprocutions, that is part of the chance you take driving, but to intentionally try to damage someone elses property because of a way you feel, thats wrong.....

Dude, I'm not gonna tell the cop off before I go in front of the judge.

Dude I know how to act when I get pulled over, I did all of that crap. Even on the ticket, it shows the conditions, DRY, Blacktop, and Light traffic... I wasn't being dangerous, I was just going home. I didn't expect just a warning but the cop didn't ask me why I was speeding (I've been pulled over once before and was asked, and got verbal warning...) He could have given a lower ticket, or atleast not been a a-hole. He was just getting his quota and took it out on me.

Well I was getting home safely, and faster. My tires are good tires and the conditions were safe... just over the speed limit... oo well we all see you're not a good role model either by the rest of your post.

Nope, theres no law in any state that says that.

Ooo well it doesn't matter, the cop wasn't nice at all or anything and that makes me more mad than anything else. And leaving the spotlight on me forever for no reason was retarded. If I wasn't drinking right now, I might would go back up there and shine a damn spotlight in his window, see how he likes seeing spots.

I'll be filing a complaint against this officer soon. I really do think the spot light was ridiculous. I saw spots nearly the rest of the drive home,, I'm sure that was a helluva of a lot safer than going 83mph with very little traffic and dry conditions.
