I went to go put in my new radio today and wouldn't you know it, i ran in to a problem. I bought the harnesses. There are 2 one that plugs from the back of the radio into the one that plugs in to the cars wires....that's right no cutting and splicing....I was just wondering why the hell there is one long thin connector (grey/black) and one square connector (black). Does everyone have this? or did they buy a wiring harness that has the same thing to plug it in to? Anyhelp would be spledid. If someone had to cut and splice do they know which wire is which speaker? Thanks

A few more details might be useful in generating a response.
What OEM sytem are you replacing and do you intend to use existing (behind glovebox) amp,if equipped with same, or do you plan to bypass? Also what is new HU? New harnesses consist of 2 sets of wires with connectors at both ends i.e., a total of four connectors?

The reason one is black and square is because its for the premium sound system, i dont know if you mean that the wiring harness has 4 connectors, but i doubt it does, if one of your plugs isn't black and square you will need to return this kit for the non-premium one. If they do for some reason have 4 connectors you could just snip off the end that would go to the radio on both of them and just wire and soder it like that. Hope this helps
