Folks,
First off yes I've spend the last hour or so looking for the similar problem I "had" and found some posts but I need more info....
This afternoon my `00 SVT started stummbling "like starving for fuel" step on the gas, hesitate stummble and almost stalled, did this for a half mile then stalled all together...wouldn't restart. It did turn over and crank fine... the tank was 3/4 empty and and for some reason the out of gas light was on ??? There was no CEL on. or anything. I was running pretty strong when this all began.
So I pulled it off the road, turn the 4 ways on and start walking. Well after about 1.5 hours I got back to the car to get some thing out if it before it got stolen and to see if it would start....hop in crank once nothing....second crank fires right off...go 1/4 mile to gas station fill it up took 12 gallons wasn't empty.....starts right up again.... so I drove it home 5 miles or so no issues at all, as I got closer to home I got on it a bit , no hesitation, stummbling ....nothing!
Any clues???
