Definitely not just yet.
I hold off until April. Just remember that summer tires won't have good adhesion to the road until they are warm. Since the outside temperature will be in the single digits, a summer tire compound ends up being a hockey puck when cold and becomes nice after a good steady drive or warm pavement.
I'll be glad to whip the Kumhos on again. My winters have had it. They are beginning to show their wear after close to 60,000 kms on them.

WEll I will be putting mine brand new tires on next week or the week after. I have to drive to Detroit at the end of the month and don't want to do it with my winters on.
Richard, wow your winter tires didn't last very long. I am still on my original set, mind you this will be their last winter so that is 5 winters on them.

I second that seeing as to I put my summers on an hour after you put yours on, and it sure makes driving in snow kind of interesting

I'll proabably put mine back on somtime after April 10th when I start prepping my car for the summer and the track season (clean/detail, lower coilovers, install camber kits, get alignment, check front tie rods that I think are worn, change over brakes, grease end links and bushings, etc)

Yeah...either I'm really hard on them or highway driving really eats 'em. Actually, I was told my WRs should last about 80,000 km. I'm at about 60,000 km with them right now. I'm undecided if I want to stick with the brand, or try something like a Pirelli.
I don't know about you or Lou, but I may have my winters on for a drive down to Detroit.

Yes but remember Richard I do highway driving too and mine still seemed to last a lot longer.
Oh I will have my summers on for the drive to Detroit regardless of the weather. They are brand new so they shouldn't be too bad.

It depends on how soon they go on and how late they come off. It's the warm weather that kills them.
