what i was trying to get at is that when you said throw a $150 shipping charge onto IMPORT FANS price of 399, you'll get the same price as CARBON WERKS, but CARBON WERKS' hood is hand laid....Do you know if import fan's is hand laid or not? what's the difference? I like that you are producing products for us, all I am getting at is a hood can now be had for cheaper on Ebay or if you can drive to Irvine. See?

The actual hood part may be handlaid, but the frame doesn't appear to be. Carbonwerks handlays and assembles every piece of every hood or part they make(carbon and fiberglass). Our underside looks almost exactly like the top(not clear coated though) and is real sturdy, using fberglass matte in between carbon. There real low volume and can produce great quality products. Ask Dion the difference between his carbon hood and ours. Is that hood on ebay just a one time deal to get some more advertising out of it? I think its great there offering products, just wish I would have known sooner, I am having a hard time trying to fill up my five spots for my OEM hood . Such is life.

I don't know the differences between them but I'm still getting my hood. I'll post pics when I get it so you can analyze it. For a couple hundred bucks, I'll take it.

Livin,

There are 10 pics up of this $300-400 hood, can you please give us a picture comparison and tell us why yours is a better buy?

I know nothing of CF and the terminology you throw out does me no good so in laymans terms using pics let us all know why your $550 hood is the way to go.
