Damn shibby that's my car! If I'd have known those pics would get THIS much play, I'd have washed her first.  Anyway, on ebay, the seller is listed as being in Irvine, which is where their shop is. I'm betting it's the same peeps- just trying to score off the ebay crowd. I'd play it safe though, find out if they're the same company before you buy.

I got a reply from Ted at Importfan, he said that it's legit, he talked to the guy and he buys from them. I don't see the point in posting a brand new retail for $399 but let a person that buys from you use your picture AND sell your hood for $100 less than you.... LivinSVT, if you live close enough to the place, you can pick it up, like a couple of us are planning on doing. I thought your hood was $550....Ebay, same hood as Import fan, is $300. Looks good to me, but I'll see mine in person in a couple weeks. It seems like the whole CF hood availability just blew up within one month. keep it up, let's get some more stuff.

I was afraid of this. Your getting confused. The hood on ebay(importfan) is a totaly different company all together than the company my hood is from(Carbon-werks). Someone in this thread asked for a picture of a carbon hood on there t-red car, and someone linked to the pic of Dions car with my prototype hood(carbon werks). I wasn't even going to produce an oem hood, but we thought maybe we could before we hacked up the test hood. Oh well. But COULD SOMEONE PLEASE DELETE THE POST IN THIS THREAD THAT LINKS TO MY HOOD . I am not helping to endorse anyone else product. Thank you

Umm, no i'm not. I know the difference between carbon-werks and import fan...
what i was trying to get at is that when you said throw a $150 shipping charge onto IMPORT FANS price of 399, you'll get the same price as CARBON WERKS, but CARBON WERKS' hood is hand laid....Do you know if import fan's is hand laid or not? what's the difference? I like that you are producing products for us, all I am getting at is a hood can now be had for cheaper on Ebay or if you can drive to Irvine. See?
