...who went in today. Jonny, cool that you could still get the test fit price- didn't mean to snake that from ya! j/k. I couldn't pass it up. IMO, the fit is great, you'll probably have to widen the windshield nozzle holes a tiny bit, and you'll have to cut out a spot for the yellow hood support hole thing, but aside from that, you're good to go.
BTW, bring some sockets with you, a 10mm for the hood supports and an 8mm (IIRC) for the grounded wire on the passenger side. They'll most likley have you do the install yourself.
I didn't bring anything- but luckily my self-taught spanish kicked in- "Me presta ustedes tools, por favor."
If you're keeping your stocker, bring a buddy with a truck. Lucky for me, I have a Yakima roof rack and some tie downs.
Post pics when you're done and I'll do the same tomorrow.
Sorry GB guys, I couldn't pass this up.
*edit: this is my car here.

You %^%&(%!! j/k. It's cool, I couldn't get down there in time. I called him back and I'm taking my girlfriend's truck down to pick it up tomorrow. If not tomorrow, he said next week is still fine. I'm messin with photoshop right now and I might powdercoat my wheels black or gunmetal to match, but we'll see how it looks as it is first. I was supposed to be done modding, but I can't pass up this offer. My picture will be on the site with yours as soon as I send them. I'm just going to pick it up tomorrow and slap it on at home I guess. Got any estimates or for sures on the weight differences? If not, I'll do the deed. Cool deal, I'll post pics ASAP.

I'd guesstimate a good 15-20# difference between the stocker and CF. I'll put it this way- it was a light struggle to lift the stock hood up onto my roof rack without scratching anything. With the CF though, I got that damned thing over my head (to avoid some of the dozens of boxes laying around) practically with one hand- while it was still in the box!
Remember to put some sort of padding (paper towels/napkins should do) on the plastic (at the base of the windsheild) where the pointy edges of the hood end up. You may end up scratching it to hell like I did! ...Now to find my rubbing compound...
Enjoy your new mod!

I just got done horsin around with photoshop and although I suck horribly at it, I wasn't really feelin it. I'll keep it on for a week, then decide if I want to keep it or sell it. Right now, I just think it might not look too great with my whole white wheels, white grilles thing goin on....

Well I called the sales department to make sure they had one in stock as the main man told me to. They said they only received one for a test fit and the next shipment will be in around next Thursday, so looks like I'll be picking it up the Monday after that I guess. 2 weeks!! Why?! Damn you Vudu! j/k. I can wait for that price. I'll post pics when I finally get it.

That's actually Importfan's picture of Vudu's car taken yesterday! I wonder if Importfan is selling them on Ebay or if it is a scam, I emailed the webmaster about it already, so I guess we'll see. But yes, that is Vudu's car and hood. Same one I will be getting in a couple weeks for less than that.

I'm tempted to drive down to Irvine to have this put on my car for $307.......................
I wish it had no washer holes and unsure how CF would look on T-Red.

Add $150+ shipping and that leaves you at the same price as my handlaid hood. Just a thought
