The old style was a large plug type sensor that bolted directly to the plug and the electrical hooked to it. The new style is a round black washer type sensor that has a bolt hole through it and has the wiring attached to it.

Well considering I built my 3.0L with all my 2.5L components and wiring.......
My 3.0L did not have one either. (Early 2000 Block)
It's not there.
