No but it strikes me as hypcritical for our President to wrap himself in the flag in this issue when he at first tried to prevent an independent commission from looking into 9/11, eventually caved in under public pressure and appointed a commission of friends to look into this (including HENRY KISSINGER - I kid you not) and then refuses to cooperate with this commission.
It seems like the one who wants to forget history - or at least the inconvenient bits - is GWB himself.
Nice that you gloss over the fact that very few sitting US Presidents take part in such commissions and having your National Security Adviser answering questions under oath to a public commission is a security risk, by it's very nature.
You also gloss over the fact that the Bush Administration has handed over $12 million to the 9/11 independent commission to fund it's activities, demanded agency cooperation with the group (which, from what I've read, has been good) and has been offering security clearances to classified information on 9/11.
For someone that doesn't want any looking to be done, this administration is giving an AWFUL lot of cooperation.
I forget, though. The liberal US media is the paragon of truth and would NEVER spin a story to look like something it's not...
