I am now leaning toward just cutting the speaker wires at the amp and cutting the amp input wires and splicing them together. I figure since the previous owner already cut the wires up by the radio, it is no big deal to cut 'em by the amp ...No problem I was out food shopping, doing driver's side tire rotation and brake inspection on my '97, BBQed steak and ate well, then had a good laugh as your successive posts scrolled by disecting the problem.
I do not understand the second quote above since OEM amp has only one input from HU.
