I never thought of this before, but that is exactly why my car seems to have such a bad-a$$ stance with my 15" rims:
Granted, theres an extra 10mm offset too to push the wheels out a bit, but not putting 17's on keeps the car real low to the ground, and she handles REAL well
Also, since those rims in that pic are only 15" rims and weigh less than stock rims (IIRC about 16lbs each compared to the stock 22lbs) the car feels alot quicker in the summer when I have these rims on (i use my stock rims for winter wheels)
