didn't the daddy of the guy in the office now sell WMD and other weapons to Saddam when Regan was in office? and if we go by the theory of "we didn't find it so it doesn't exist", does that mean that osama doesn't exist? we haven't found him yet. so i guess that putting a V-8 into a tour doesn't exist either does it? hehehe

i'm still not all the way convinced on the evidence that justified a preemptive attack in iraq, but i understand we can't know everything
there's just many unanswered questions relating to the information released by our gov justifying the case for immediate war iraq and how it was interpreted and acted upon by our leaders.
in addition, the halliburton connections (suspect by the conflict of interest alone) are even more cause to think that the plan to attack iraq could have been influenced by decisions made prior to 9/11.
Homeland security is marginally tighter than it was before so that is the major caveat to the war, but it seems to early to tell. however i wonder if we could have saved that money spent on the war and just created the dept of homeland security and had the same effect.
of course making an example out of iraq has shown the world that we're not playing.
