if its not a Z24, don't worry 2.2L's are worthless but my friends Z24 is a pretty quick little car...faster than me I know that. but only right now

I'm not being sarcastic here, just curious since its been a while since I've driven automatic. How can it depend on the driver on ATX? The only thing I can think of is how much throttle you give it to start out with so you don't peel out.

dont down those cars i ran 15.2's all the time in my 98 se and i lost 3 times to cavaliers at the strip....

Certainly not to stock Cavaliers, though.
And I agree with Demon. The Z24 is a high 15 second car in MTX and 16 sec ATX.

I have driven a stock 2002 4cylinder cavalier and it feels much slower than my car. IMO

Saw a non-z24 , atx cavy mid 90s with intake and muffler run 12s in 1/8 mile today.

it was probably the 2.2L
i actually raced my friends z24 yesterday (both MTX's) and I got my ass handed to me...its not fair.
