mine stopped working, it was due to a rusty latch. i ended up taking out the grille, and saturating it with lubricant, and letting it sit til it freed up.
also, the cable popped out of it's mount, in the handle area, i think i had to bend the bracket to make it hold the cable again.
this car is a real piece of work.
