Yes I am considering only car audio.
Car audio is only a fraction of the quality of home audio and professional recording.
And yes, I should specify that they need an EQ to flatten there curve.
But even a cheap EQ will do the job nicely.
(A 1 octave will do.)
And once they have been tuned, can reproduce spund quite exquisetly, and without equal.
So in my humble opinion, I would consider them the best.

This is the only part I disagree with.

Difference of opinion is noted and accepted.

What would you consider better? (Just for the record)

Equals:

Manger
Jordan JX92
SS Revelator
Seas Lotus
Seas Excel
Focal Audiom/Utopia
etc.

Better:

?? can't really say.

If it came down to dynamics, horns are difficult to beat, but the FR of the horns is really all over the map. They can be made to sound excellent but are much more work to get there than standard coned/domed transducers.

More work shouldn't (but I know it does) draw away from a speaker.
I like you choices, especially the Focal Audiom/Utopia.
Again, I say in my opinion of what's the best.

I would really like to see a midrange version of the CerwinVega Stroker myself.
