I competed in my first show today.(
http://www.slapshow.com ) Since I'm not one for the BOOM, I did sound quality.
My Dynaudio's performed flawlessly, The judge was very impressed by my imaging and soundstage. I did get some deductions in a few catagories
They subtracted points for:
- No wire protection, I don't have wire loom under the hood, and my terminals for my cap are not covered.
- I didn't hit high enough on SPL, I hit a 129. The meter was showing on the low side today. A buddy that usually hits 160 only hit 149.3
- He also said that my mid base rolled into my sub, So I gotta work on my crossover points.
Overall he said the system sounded great.
Oh, By the way, I placed
second!
