More precisely:
Locate the power antenna control wire.
Route it so that it runs toward the front area of the console under the hu.
Cut the wire.
Strip the two ends.
Obtain a Single-pole/Single-throw (SPST) switch of your choice from Radio Shack.
Mount the switch in the location of your choice in proximity to the stripped wires.
Connect the stripped ends of the antenna control wire to the switch - one wire on each switch terminal - does not matter which one goes where.
Operation will be as previously discussed:
Switch on - normal operation.
Switch off - antenna down.
