I think I made the right choice, after striking out twice, already.

Your Bosal system sounds real good...can't wait for mine to arrive on the 15th.

The Bosals I've heard sounded good...not really open or blatty. I don't know what other exhaust mods had been done (or not done), though.

Dang, that Bosal sounds HOT! I had considered the Bosal system, but I'm an old man of 41 & looking for a more mellow tone.

I had the Bosal with MSDS headers and high flow cat.

The system sounded really great but was way too loud for me. After less than 20 miles of driving I ended up replacing it with a 2000 SVT cat-back with a magniflow resonator.

Near Perfect...

I think the Bosal system would be an excellent option for:

1) A turbo contour.
2) Contours with otherwise completely stock exhaust sytems
(stock precats, y-pipe and main cat). Should be much quieter.
3) Wild eyed crazy Contour enthusiasts for whom aggressive exhaust tone is more important than civility!

Any wild eyed crazy contour owner near Alexandria VA need a like new Bosal catback?

I'll take it!!!

I'll put some baffles in it & maybe pipe in an intermediate resonator.

WHOA... hold off the PM's! Sorry about the way that post reads, but I really wasn't looking to give my Bosal away as I did pay $500 for it not too long ago...

I've been meaning to put it in the classified when I get time. I can't talk price here (forum rules) but I planned on knocking off 10 bucks for every mile of the 20 miles I drove with it on. If you want to do the math and send me a PM feel free. Gotta insist on local pickup as shipping is TOO much hassle with this thing.

No "used part" dissapointments as it is really in perfect condition...

Again, sorry about my previous post.

LOL!!! The only thing that gets these guys to move faster is if you wreck an SVT. The freebie hunters & parts hounds are merciless!

And now, I have to admit, I was in on this one. Sorry JED. I really like the Bosal system construction, quality, & look, so I just couldn't help myself when I had the chance to snag one & try to quiet it down.

If you don't get any takers now, PM me & perhaps we can barter a bit & still meet up before/after Huntsville.

There is a resonator that comes with the Bosal and the baffles are $25 each. I'm seriosuly considering the baffles as I hope to mellow out the sound.

The attention the exhaust gets is terrific but I prefer to drive on the DL (down-low)

This might be just the system for you!! PM JED & maybe you can have somebody pick up his system & ship it to you. It's only got a few miles on it so it'll be a great deal. You'll be able to get baffles & maybe a few extras like an intake or DMD for less than the price of a new system.
