Does anyone know if there is a car wash near the meet location? the weather is crap up here today so I'll have to clean the girl up before I get there. Oh, and since I'm from way out of town, as clear of directions as possible would be very much appreciated.

Glad your planning on coming to meet Shawn, gotta see that ride in person to appreciate all the work you've done to it since SZ02'  Just use www.mapquest.com for the best directions, the address and website is posted in previous pages, so that shouldn't be a problem. There is a car wash on westbound M-59 and its about a 1/2 mile E of Van Dyke on the N side of the street. I plan on being at the meet around 1:30 p.m. but I'll be w/o my ride  The guy called me today and they just aren't going to be able to finish it up due to being short handed yesterday (remember they're doing the rear subframe too ) It does suck not having my car there, but I'm trying to get my wife to let me bring her new truck to the meet, showing off the "mini-dubs"

Sweet, thanks for the car wash location Rog. Just checked out my atlas, looks like I should be able to find somehting. Planning on leaving here around 9:30-9:45. Can't wait to meet a bunch of you detroiters!

ill definitely have to wash my car tomorrow before the meet. it hasnt been washed by hand since i blew the tranny back in september! 2X

That poor car, maybe you should've come over with Pete yesterday John. Maybe that Teflon stuff is still holding up, we'll see  The weather isn't going to be sunny today, but Doppler 7000 says no rain today, so were OK Lets roll out the welcome mat for NorMich, coming in all the way from the upper part of the lower Michigan. I'm actually looking forward to seeing his ride, its come a long way since SZ02'
