Hmm right First off how many Fords chevys and Dodges do you see running past 200K miles consistently and problem free? Hondas and Acuras are very well built cars. All your comments are about RICERS, WTF does that have to do about the car itself. Just because some idiot decides to wreck there car with stickers and fart cans, doesn't mean that Honda/Acura are too blame. You have a sterotypical opinoin on all honda/acura owners. Get over it, a majority of Hondas are stock driven by families for daily drivers and will never be modified. Ricers can't afford the higher end Acuras, so you rarely see a riced out TL CL TYpe S etc etc etc. So you think the S2000, NSX, RSX typeS, TL, and CL's are ugly cars and poorly designed???? And for you too rip on a Supra is just plain dumb. All the supras around here are bone stock with old men driving them. Very rarely do you see them modiifed up here, but when you do it's for performance not ricers. I think you need to find soomething else to base your complaints on.

A lot of Honda guys will agree that the vintage styling of the older Hondas are pimp tight. They just didn't come witn any powerful motors and swaps are expensive. It's not really a matter of taste.

I have seen quite a few old fords that are still working great to this day. You do the oil change, andthe routine maintance, car should last quite awhile. I Have seen alot of old American cars, and never seen an old import before 1980's, and I have seen alot of cars. Thats just my opinion though. I am a true Ford Enthusiast.

Yeah old yes but how many miles? My dada has a 65 INternational Harvester, it's rusty as hell and has only 50K on it. Yeah it runs good and all but it has it's problems...RUST! The imports didn't exactly become big in the US till the 80's, that would kinda explain the lack there of old imports. But then again a car from 1980 is already a classic, anything older then 20 years can get classic/collector plates in WI. I used to be a Ford fan, but the lack of quality product has swayed me to other vehicles.

Yes, the car's styling didn't really evoke much emotion, but it drove like a go kart, and was a great first car for its durability.
My first two cars were Integras...a 1987 and a 1992. They were both fantastic cars. I never got into modding and stuff, but I never thought that either one needed it, for that matter. They got great mileage, they were powerful enough, they were generally reliable, and they looked good. At the time, I figured I'd always want to own Acuras, but at the same time I wasn't obnoxious about it.

HONDAS WILL OUTLAST MOST AMERICAN CARS, PERIOD. 2. I got this new spoiler on my Civic EX, its pimpin yo!" or "Lets goto autozone yo, and get some sticker decals that say NOS, flames, and Type R and put it all over my Civic EX". TRUE, ALTHOUGH I"VE SEEN SOME TOURS THAT LOOK LIKE THAT TOO. 5. Its too f*ckin common, and it is not unique! THINK OF SOMETHING UNIQUE! HAPPENS WITH ANY CAR, DEPENDS ON THE OWNER. 7. Its an Import. BMW... 8. Dull look on interior and exterior. ONCE AGAIN THE CHEAP FACTOR Im sure I can come up with more... but im done for now
Sorry for the caps, just had to distinguish my comments...I don't like Honda's myself, or anything other Japanese car, including Mazda 6, RX-8, etc. Yes they are nice, but I stick to American or German vehicles. But, Honda's and other Japanese cars are great, reliable cars, just overdone, unfortunately, more often that not...

I'd take my engine in a car that weighs as much as a civic any day over a civic with stock engine. Even the civic Si doesn't have any balls, my engine has same torque as it, though it does have 30hp more. Friend of mine had one, it was nice once you hit ~5k rpm, but not very impressive until that point.
I totaly agree with what you said. I have been in a few Si's and they didnt have hardly any torque, unless it was revved to within an inch of its life. It may have the same torque as a Zetec, but its so far up in the powerband that it doesnt help when you take off from a traffic light. All things being equal, the Honda would play catch-up every time in a race, which a friend did one time against my mighty (?) Zetec.
Im a big fan of low-end torque, so therefore I dont like 90% of the Hondas out there. The tiny displacement motors they have will never be capeable of any so its a moot point.
The ricers putting on 3 inch exhausts and huge intakes just make it worse.
