I know every one is always cracking jokes about Honda, thats fine by me. But what i want to know is, does it go for Acura also? I know all four bangers are not slow. For example the Focus SVT, everyone loves them so why not make fun of them? It just takes time and alot of money. I personally do not mind them so much. I also know a few people with Hondas and Acuras, and they are pretty damn fast. I hope I did not just start a flame war.   Just would like to hear some peoples opinoins.  and no, i probally will not own one. Thanks for reading

i feel the exact same way and i was actually a Honda owner before the SVT but i never said anything like this because it seems anytime someone opens there mouth bout this, someone always seems to have something negative to say. i dont like the attitude that most CEGers on here have that Contiques are the best and Hondas and most other imports all suck and are slow. how can any Honda owner ever respect a Contour enthusiast for liking our cars if we actually have the nerve to sit here and insult all of them just for having a Honda? same thing with VTEC. everyone makes fun of VTECs sayin they are all slow but theres so many cars with VTECs that would eat a Tour for breakfast.

who cares if some one says somthing negative about it? Under the heading for common, it pretty much says anything goes. if they want to say something like that, its not like u have to agree with there opinion.

yeah i realize they have the right to say w/e they want and ur right, i dont agree with them. they can say it all they want, but i just think its a very cocky and bad attitude to have. thats all, not tryin to cause a problem.

Yes exactly. They're not perfect, but Honda/Acura cars tend to be very reliable and well-engineered. Also VTEC refers to a camshaft-switching technology that is used on all of Honda's engines including the v6. And Honda definietly knows what it's doing when it comes to building engines!! Yes there are some die-hards on here who will say all Hondas are crap and their Contour is far superior.  Don't listen to them, they're probably rednecks anyways.
