I replaced the factory ford 6x8's with some rockford fosgate 5x7's powered by my JVC deck. the ford speakers are held in place with self-tapping screws. I just reused those and made some new holes. they hold tight and I've had no problems
1996 contour lx
just gettin' started on it.
