Does anyone know if the wiring harness that goes thru the doors into the trunk have unused wires? I want to put speakers in the trunk and really don't want to run wires if there are some already there.

I'm not sure yet. On the rear deck is a spot to mount a 8", I think, speaker. Ther is a wiring harness that goes thru the doors, including the speaker wires, into the trunk. But I'm not sure if they continue. Also I heard but have not been able to verify that the Mystic's had an option for a speaker in the rear deck, that's why the mount is there. Have you heard anything about it?

It's actually big enough to put a 6.5 sub in there. Part of the premium system for the mondeo was a sub in that location. Rockford makes a sub that size. If you want something that just adds to the overall SQ, this a good sub. It won't thunder, but it does add to the music.
People have mounted 8" or 10" subs. But that was with some modification.

I haven't heard about any unused wires, but then again there is a first for everything. Why don't you check it out and let us know what you discover.

Yeah, I would suggest running your own wire for that application. Even if by some odd chance there are unused wires they won't be the best. Running wire to the back is a pretty easy job any ways. Good luck.

I found the WH/VI wire in the trunk harness but I didn't see the other, it was taking so much time I took everyone's advice and ran my own wire's. It wasn't as hard as thought. THANKS AGAIN!!
