definitly check the car because the last time i had a loud noise/vibration from the front end the damn drivers side tire fell off and took off down the highway for about a mile, well needless to say it took a while to fix that problem, had 1 broken stud another broke when putting on the new lugs, had to get a new rotor, and had to replace the lugs 2 times and all the wheel studs on the front end, just to be safe, well it hasn't happened again, but it is a weird feeling to see your damn tire pass you

Is there any way to check it myself without going to the shop? I don't have the money to fix it right now if it's the bearing, but as soon as the income taxes come in I want to get it in there. Thanks!

Well, I think it's the bearing...took in on the freeway yesterday and it sounded like an airplane was flying over my head. So it's going in the shop today. I will let you guys know what the diagnosis is as soon as I know.

K...everyone wanted an update to my problem. Ended up being the passenger side bearing. Also had them replace the driver's side. They checked the back and noticed I had NO back brakes at all. There was nothing left of them..so those all had to be done. With all the work that was done it was about 650.00. Thanks for everyones input. I am glad I didnt drive it now that I know it was the bearing. That would have sucked ass if the tire would have went rolling down the road. Just wierd that it did it all the time no matter how fast I was going.

Yea it does....but you are right..at least I got them done before something wierd happened. I feel worse that I had to borrow the money from my dad. And he just went back to work after being laid off for a month. But I am very relieved that everything is fixed and I have my baby back. (Now she just needs washing after being in that yucky, dusty garage )
