Steeda, I am also very interested in these enclosures as well. I have alot of experience laying up fiberglass so that isnt a problem. My first problem is how much volume? my second problem is I have NO specs on my drivers and cannot get any. My qeustion is, What volume would be a good starting point to begin to experiment. My driver is Soundstream 6.5 SPL's. Could you make a sugestion to help get me started? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Today equals your lucky day. When I was a installer in Michigan i installed cerwin-vega, rockford fosegate, JL audio, alumapro, and Soundstream. If im not mistaken its .35 cu ft per would most likly get you the best response. Also about 40 watts rms would help. If you do that you should end up with a great deep none boomy sound. Ohh just so you know SPL's are the **** i love them to death one of my friends bought a SPL 12 and i built him a box with only a 200 rms boss audio amp he was hitting 138. The old soundstream was amazing. The new soundstream is sliding down hill.
Any more ?'s
