Hey guys, I am tired of no lows in my car and so I decided to finally buy some subs. I didn't spend much, in fact here is the link to what I bought off ebay: Enclosed Bandpass 12" Subs They may even be crappy subs, but since others that bought the product have said good things and they are already enclosed in a decent box, I decided to buy them. Please note that I'm not going for overkill or even where somebody has to hear my system, I'm just going for something that sounds good and will provide the lows I need in my car. I am currently running 4 Pioneer 3-Way 6x8's powered by my DEH-P7300 Headunit. This headunit provides high-voltage subwoofer output (5V I think) and has both a built-in low-pass filter for my door speakers (which I will use once I install these subs) and a high-pass filter for the subs. I take it I will not need to use this since the amplifier will have a built-in crossover (I think that is what I need, right?). Basically I need recomendations on what brand Amplifier, the wattage I need, if it needs to be 2-channel or 4-channel (I assume 2-channel if I'm just using it to run 2 subs). I have a degree in computer and electrical engineering so I will understand your talk about current, voltage, and anything else, but I have never done an amplifier/sub install (and I'm not, I'm having a trusted source do this for me) so I need tips from you audio geniuses.
