AFAIK, the spark plug cover from an early mystique BOLTS to the valve cover. Now if using a focus plug cover, you have to drill new holes into the valve cover,,, or maybe not, maybe it was if you use a focus valve cover you have to drill new holes into the head... Or maybe it's both.

Are you assuming that the +98 original black cover w/ VCT on it is plastic (the actual valve cover)??
It is metal...btw This thread is confusing

I can see what you mean...I picked up a spare for $10 to paint & its definitely some type of cast metal...I have some polished diamond plate that I am considering for a wire cover, just have to figure out how to attach... Duct tape perhaps

I was always sure it was plastic too.
Kremi: no they don't have a plug wire cover. They advertise they do, but they don't. I first tried to get it almost a year ago, got a reply alleging that there was a huge fire in the Eislinger warehouse and all supplies went kaput. Now, after 6 months or something, I made my second attempt and got a letter from Rob Green telling me again something about the fire at Eislinger warehouse. It's worth mentioning though that Eislinger itself doesn't have this item in their own catalogue. Proly was manufactured specifically for ZXtuner.com. Not sure.

Umm what/who doesn't? Huh?
And zetecninja, are you talking bout painting a valve cover? Why not just paint the one you have? I painted mine.
