I think it's a bit more accurate as there's no pole prodruding from the center of the woofer. Bass extension won't be quite as low due to the smaller surface area of the woofer, but I think it's a bit "crisper" due to aforementioned reason. If you're running a separate sub, it won't matter.
BTW, if you decide to go with the Bahn plates look into the Dak clones the guy listed in my review link. The Bahn plates seem to be retailing close to $200 these days!
