Not really a problem.
First off Bill, I want to thank you for helping me with my little problem and getting me those head gaskets almost overnight!

Here is a simple list:
------------------------
- 6 FMS injectors, Some kind of injector 36-42#/hour is fine.
- Ford Lightning MAF, any year will do but preferably one where we have the airflow vs. voltage (MAF transfer function) available. They plug right in to the 98+ MAF plug.
** You will still need a chip from SF to run this setup. Tell them what MAF (with part# ) and what injectors size you want to run.
** For Returnless systems, have them get the Focus SVT fuel pump.
** Return Style systems you will need the the walbro 255LPH Low Pressure pump or similar. I had to modify the housing and connector to mount the pump in the tank, but it was pretty easy.
- 3L head gaskets, LH and RH
- 24 valve seals if the engine isn't low miles.
- 12 injector O-rings (use silicone lubricant to install)
- Contour intake manifold gasket set, upper/lower.
- Escape exhaust manifold gasket set.
- Contour 2.5L valve cover gaskets, LH, RH.
- Contour timing cover gaskets.
- Front crankshaft seal, (should always change this)
** DMD, I ran the first week without the DMD and now I just put it on the new motor. Definitely helped to smooth it out and reduce NVH. Good to put a new damper and seal on at the same time.
- Rear main seal
- Oil pan gasket, Don't skimp on this one!
- Rod bolts, 12 bolts, (two packages I think).
- Head bolts, both sides (16 total IIRC)
- Rod bearings, I recommend the Clevite77's over the Ford bearings though.
- EGR valve to intake manifold gasket. (I learned this the hard way)
*** Check the timing chain guides. If not a low mileage engine then replace****
This is important, the cams I used were the escape cams and that is what gave that huge torque spike in the middle without too much sacrifice at the top end. This isn't better than the SVT CAMS, this just shifts the torque curve downward. Higher power numbers but lower torque numbers can be obtained by the SVT cams. The Escape cams and chains are a different pitch than the SVT cams and chains. Use all of one type! Use the timing sets for the specific year of CAMSHAFT THAT YOU WANT.- Timing chain plastic guides.
That is pretty much it.
