Correction. It is the opposite.

Ford uses 40psi as it's rating point.

The bulk of the other manufacturers (GM/Delphi for instance) use 43.5psi for their ratings.


Therefore a Ford injector will flow more then it's rating at the "standardized" 43.5psi


Also the conversion to actual flow would be based on the fuel pressure at WOT.
That would be a set 55psi at WOT for return style SVT's.
It would, of course, not be a set psi level for returnless.
