Ok, my friend and I went out to the local Solo II event and ran the SVT. We finished 1st and 3rd (it was my first time), but we both noticed a serious problem: when we braked around the turn around and punched it in first out of the turn, the engine would bog. It did the same in the high rpms of 2nd. It was fine in 3rd-5th (when I ran it later), but for some reason it just wouldn't respond. I refueled and didn't have a problem until today, but it's not as severe now. I'm thinking it's a fuel filter issue, but I want to get a more expert opinion. I also *still* have an issue with moosing. I currently have an IAC valve soaking in carb cleaner in a coffee cup on my desk even though a "certified mechanic" just told me it's a "quick fix and won't last a week". Anyone ever hear that about IAC cleaning? Thanks!
