Unfortunately, I'm not talking about Q from Star Trek!

My HU allows me to create 3 user EQ settings based on the the following criteria:

Low Frequency (50,80,120HZ); Low bandwidth (Q, 1-4); and Low Level (0-6). It also allows me similar adjustment for the mids and highs.

The last one is 'how much bass'. Now I get confused. Is the Low Frequency 'which bass frequency to start at'? As for the Q... I have no idea what that means.

I'm using my deck to power 4 Pioneer 6x8 3-ways. Does anyone know what Q is in relation to my deck?
