I was thinking of getting two adire shivas or dayton 12" DVC for $250 (dayton works in smaller box than the Shiva) or i was thinking of getting two 12" punch HEs 4ohm for $120-$140 when best buy has there buy one get one free or half off deals. Now what I want to know is do you guys think the performance of the shiva/daytons is worth the extra money, from what I hear the Shiva is comparable to woofers three times its price.

One Shiva or Dayton DVC should outperform two of those Punch drivers in sound qquality and probalby equal in output for the same power.

Very good as well, but they don't handle as much power as the oter two. If you are only giving each one 300w or less anyway, the Stryke is cheaper.

is that 300w rms or max? i just punched in the t/s Parameters into winisd and it looks like the stryke might work better for me becaus of its abitly to work well in an smaller Enclosures than the shiva and the dayton.

300w rms for the Stryke

How about just getting a single Shiva or Dayton for now and testing it. If it is not enough , add another? I think you will be impressed with it's abilityies for a mere $120ish.

That's the Stryke HE15. I posted it here back in september. It's an impressive video.
