did you read my question? is that model # the biggest filter you can fit in there with a short ram ? if so that may be a little too big to work with my SCA intake.

Take a few quick measurements under the hood then visit the K&N Engineering site, all the dimensions are listed. Make sure you measure the MAF adaptor (inlet) too, the rubber on the filter will squeeze down a bit.
The location (L-R) of your filter can be changed by modifying your intake pipe and silicone couplers. As you know the hood slopes quite a bit near the wheel well.
I know for a fact you can fit a larger filter, I have used the RC-4760, however.... Demon posted that the 3530 is the best (cfm) match for a 2.5L Duratec.

I assume the SCA is the CAI that dips down by the tranny?....The RU-3530 is not that big, it should be able to fit, not ABSOLUTE though. If it is the CAI that dips down by the tranny, PM BradNoon to see what filter he used for his setups.

Mine is a rc-3250 from memory. A bit smaller, but still feels to give a good power increase.

Let me get this straight here... u guys remove the "box" that the stock filter comes in and just attach the k&n filter to the other end? It works like that? I've heard of this stuff before but never really understood how it was done.

RU 3530
Beats that stock airbox anyday, looks nicer and not to mention is the perfect size for the space in there.
Just my two cents
