Edit: So I found the MTX THUNDER6500D for $300, would that be better than the JBL BP600.1? Ideas Dave?
Well, MTX amps normally advertise their amps at 12.5v and use 14.4v ratings on their birth certificates. Not that that matters. IMHO, I wouldn't spend an extra 67% to get similar quality and a 9% increase in power.[/b]From what i know is that MTX is regulated at 12.5V, and the 14.4V is dynamic range, or max power. I've got a copy of one of the birth certificates in here somewhere.. i'll post it up...
EDIT: if my scanner would only make life easier for me. Anyways it is 12.5V regulated and tested. this is from one of my 4 channel amps.
4ohm test: min <0.1$ 20Hz-20kHz - actual <.033%
Signal to noise A-Weighted: min >110dB - actual 114dB
Power rated at >37.5 wattsRMS/channel - actual 66Wrms/Ch
anyways, you get the point. Off subject here
