I got my resonator removed, now I have a rattle in the exhaust at high rpms, and when I first start my car after its been sitting aw while. What is causing this. I need to know by tomorrow so I can get it fixed, or I will spend all week having my car like this because I wont have time to go to a midas.

Ah man, you've been on here how much longer than me? There are mentions of this DAILY and it is common knowledge. That is rasp. If you want to "fix it", put the resonator back on. Or put a glasspack or hi flow res in it's place.

Thats the only way that will fix that. If I put a hiflow res will it still be as loud, or will it not be as loud. I still want the noise, just not the rasp. Does the rasp always happen? or just sometimes.

Always, buy more noticable when the engine is cold.

okay, I just wanted to know if it happened to everyone. if thats the case, thats fine with me.
Now last question, did they weld it in and for how much. I think I got screwed, they clamped it in and charged me 79 before tax. I think i got ass [censored]!

I removed the resonator and installed a straight pipe. thinking about going back and saying put my res back on, I am gonna go to a different midas where they will only charge me $40.00

I don't have a Res and I don't have rasp either  all I have is a muffler where the res goes... and yeah it's a Zetec but my exaust was on a duratec with the same results.

$79 and it was CLAMPED on!!   WOW! I paid $30 to have a straight pipe welded in at an EXPENSIVE shop....
