As a Christian, who accepted Christ as my savior around 5yrs ago. It brings what happend into a whole new light, not to say Mel didn't take some artistic merit to it. So all I can really say is if your a believer it will bring a whole new perspective.
Brought a whole new meaning to the song "Here I am To Worship" In a specific line:
"I'll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross"
One last note, I will warn that the movie is very graphic. I would like to say if any of you have a problem with blood, this may not be the best choice for you. For the reason that it will be hard to get anything out of it if you are disturbed.
