Hey guys,
I installed a complete SVT intake assembly on my 98 SE V6 over the summer. When I first start the car, it revs up to about 2000 RPMs and then eventually goes down to a normal idle speed. I replaced everything from the fender well to the TB with the SVT setup except the IAT sensor. I just soldered on some longer wire and plugged it into the rubber hose between the TB and the MAF. Should I purchase the IAT sensor for the SVT or is the SE one sufficient (are they even different)? Would this even correct the problem I'm having or is it something else (the PCM)?
