Thanks for all the advice as well. Before I go, I intend to:
* swap in a new set of front brake pads (probably Mintex)
* check over the front suspension carefully
* flush the power steering, brakes and coolant
* put in a fresh fill (6 qts) of Mobil 1 5W30
* replace the fuel filter (AFAIK the original 140k+ mile piece!)
* do the vacuum-feed chemical intake cleaning
* clean the throttle body and check and
* possibly change the plugs
All stuff I need to do this spring anyway. I'm *really* looking forward to doing this.
