I don't know about your rain, but my rain is what makes the car dirty. If my car is sparkling clean and it rains, my car will be filthy. The dirt and elements in rain are amplified because I live in CA, but rain in most places still is a little dirty. Just wash the car. Hosing it down does nothing either. If you have ever tried to hose or even spray the car off to clean it up a bit, you would know, it makes it worse. That's why they invented the CA car duster! That's what I would recommend if the car is not wet. It will not be clean clean but it will be cleaner than before and in a safer way.
