Hi Guys...My problem started yesterday. I drove my car into work, which is about 45 miles, and it didn't really heat up at all .The temp guage would only move slightly, it would occasionally touch the left line of the normal range, but that's it. The heater wasn't blowing very warm air either, which I suppose makes sense. I drove my car home tonight, and it was doing the same thing, only about 25 miles into the ride my Check Engine light came on and stayed on (even after shutting the car off a couple of times and starting it back up).

I checked the FAQ and didn't see anything on this, so I guess I probably just need to bring it into the shop. Just curious if anybody had any ideas though.

I would first try the thermostat. If it is was stuck it would explain why the car isnt heating up, and why you dont get hot air.
It is very easy to on Contours.

As for the CEL it would be my best guess it is related and has something to do with engine not reaching operating temperature. If the computer sees the car has been on for a while 15 minutes lets say, and it is still at 300 degrees it will throw a CEL because it knoews it should be hotter.
