Hey guys,
I have a 1996 ford contour ATX and I really like that car, it drives really well, but one day I was driving on the interstate and my speedometer went from about 60 to zero and it hasn't been working since. Also I have a check Enginer light and O/D off is blinking... I took it into autozone to get the codes read and I got a code P0500 error code. After that I took it to my mechanic. I paid to get a new speed sensor put in and it didn't help the situation
. Also when I had the vehicle scanned again It gave me the same error codes... Can anyone give me any advise to how to fix this problem? Ever since I have had this problem the car hasn't been shifting properly and it has become really frustating. Could a fuse cause this problem? Thanks alot guys.
