just seeing if anyone has checked out the new online community called "there".... Looks kinda interesting, but not sure how ghey it is....

Looks like yet another oulet from reality for the socially maladjusted. Maybe I should sign up and try it out.

Yeah I had that, Saw it on Tech TV and decided to go check it out and sign up. It's like The Sims in 1st person. You basically walk around a little village type thing and meet people, hang out in huts, ride in dune buggies, hover boards, and other stuff laying around. Basically it's just a 3D interactive chat room. Pretty lame, especially when they want you to buy the currency so you can go shopping for clothes (for your character, not yourself)

Is it worth my time to download if I'm really that bored? No viruses or rediculous pop ups with it?
